Why so many axles??? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know what the obsession is that SCS has for multi-axle 53' trailers? I get that they aren't based in the US, but it isn't that hard to see that the overwhelming majority of our trailers here are just tandem axle 53' everywhere. This game is using real world truck models, and is called a simulator after all, so why do so many long box trailers in the game have a tri axle setup? In real life, they are practically non existent outside of Michigan.

Also, they restricted 53' trailers from California as well in the game, but they are perfectly legal there. The bridge law just means you have to have the tandems (trailer wheels) pulled forward.

Then there is the whole W9 studio thing as well.
