same happened to me. I held it for 10secs but the thing didnt say anything
1. turn on electrics by pressing E
2. Turn camera so you can see breathalyser
3. turn on breathalyser (when turned on it will say wait. wait until it says ready before moving onto step 4)
4. press and keep pressed down the left mouse button on the breathalyser tube until the word pass appears

That's the point of the system, "alcolock" or similar won't let you start the engine until a sample of breath has been provided that is negative for alcohol content. You need to turn on the breathalyser and then hold the sample tube until it stops beeping and indicates the test was okay.
