I too have been looking at trains in France, but I'm back now. Open the spoilers to view the images of trains in Surgères.
These two shots are at Sotteville-les-Rouen's 'Train Graveyard', where SNCF puts the trains and rolling stock it doesn't need. Most of it is perfectly useable.

I know I'm late, but those are some great pics! :D
I especially like the purple SNCF BB22200. ????

At first I thought this was a rare service but now I've looked, it apparently aint, so here's the result of a limited stop service between Plymouth and Newquay with a class 802, which is terrible compared to the refurbed 43s.

Nice Hitachi!
I've seen both IRL, and I can say I like both the 800s and the 43.
Never ridden either though, so I can't say how comfortable they both are.

Thanks, those are my favourite locos and they go from Purple to Blue

While I am now home in England, I did two (short) "spotting sessions" near Clonas-Sur-Vareze before I went
