On Monday saw the first of the 6 ex Grand Central power cars (43467) enter service with East Midlands Trains in which before its first passenger run to London it was named at Nottingham station with two names 'British transport police Nottingham' and Nottinghamshire fire and rescue' to commemorate the work to save the station from fire last month. Below: seen at Derby before heading to Nottingham empty with 43043 on the front.

I was travelling to London with EMT on Wednesday but never saw it. I got 43057 (I think) Which was the normal HST.

43467 Looks a bit like a Valenta. Those things were hellfire!
