Not bad, I feel like they are not suited for intercity travel though, only short journey's. The HST's seats a lot more comfortable. Two great shots there. How comfortable are the seats on those 800 class trains?
I was travelling to London with EMT on Wednesday but never saw it. I got 43057 (I think) Which was the normal HST.On Monday saw the first of the 6 ex Grand Central power cars (43467) enter service with East Midlands Trains in which before its first passenger run to London it was named at Nottingham station with two names 'British transport police Nottingham' and Nottinghamshire fire and rescue' to commemorate the work to save the station from fire last month. Below: seen at Derby before heading to Nottingham empty with 43043 on the front.

Above and Below: Seen at Nottingham alongside 43049 in the older livery having arrived from London.

Yes all the 430's are the original EMT power cars. The 434's are ex Grand Central and have buffers.I was travelling to London with EMT on Wednesday but never saw it. I got 43057 (I think) Which was the normal HST.
43467 Looks a bit like a Valenta. Those things were hellfire! On Monday saw the first of the 6 ex Grand Central power cars (43467) enter service with East Midlands Trains in which before its first passenger run to London it was named at Nottingham station with two names 'British transport police Nottingham' and Nottinghamshire fire and rescue' to commemorate the work to save the station from fire last month.
