Oxford. Situated in the South-East of England, and the 52nd largest city in the UK, it is home to the oldest English speaking university in the world. This project aims to bring a large chunk of Oxford into OMSI, with realistic scenery, and custom assets. This project will be released incrementally, with updates happening when I feel that they are suitable for release. This project has been ongoing since March of 2016, just before I arrived at Fellowsfilm.

Initially, I was hoping to have a playable version in Q4 2017, but due to a long period where I lost motivation, this has been pushed back to Q2 of 2018. There is still a large amount to do, as I plan on including 3 routes in the initial release.

Initial Release 1.0 - Q2 2018
This version will include 3 routes. The 3 routes are all very different, meaning that there will be much variety. The three routes will be:
  • Park and Ride - 300 - Redbridge <> City Centre
  • Express - X3 - Abingdon <> City Centre / Abingdon <> Oxford Train Station
  • Inter-Urban - 35 - Abingdon <> City Centre
Second Release - 1.1 - Q4 2018
This version will be smaller in size, because the base of the map has already been done.
  • Express - X13 - Abingdon <> John Radcliffe Hospital
  • Urban - 5 - City Centre <> Blackbird Leys
  • Park and Ride - 300 - City Centre <> Pear Tree
  • Park and Ride - 400 - City Centre <> Thornhill
I have not planned further than this at this point, since plans are most likely going to change.

No. You cannot have a pre-release version. I will select a team when it comes closer to release. If you ask, you will be ignored.

That is looking awesome fair play. I currently live in Witney and have used the S1 service regularly. I know that's not what is being worked on here but have seen a number of those buses passing, will be cool to actually drive one.
Have had OMSI 2 on my radar for a while now, seeing this has persuaded me to pick it up over the weekend and start to learn the world of sim bus driving.

Another local project!! I'm on the X30 and 31 routes (Stagecoach) and I had family who lived on the 35 (OBC)
I wish I knew how to build on the editor, otherwise I would have already attempted this hehe :D

I hope to successfully make a Thames Travel C400R Skin, as they are the buses I see most often on the X32/32a part but if there was a RHD Citaro I knew of I would do a Connector skin for that (Connector being TT's brand for the Oxford/Didcot > Harwell Campus routes [X32/32a and 98, although these services split onto 38 and 67/67c routes])

This looks really good, reminds me of Kent for some unknown reason :tongueout:
Just a quick question, what buses are being used? I would assume C400R and Eclipse 1.5?
Oxford (irl) is mainly E400MMC's, E400's , E200's, Citaro's and some brand new Streetdecks from what I've seen, although it's been a while since I went properly into the City Centre since Westgate closed. Here I would asume C400R and Eclipse probably, they're the only good RHD Buses
