Apologies if this has been asked before, But I cant seem to find anything on this, but is there a way of Easily following a DEM with a Spline? my splines seem to go through my map each time, the only way round It I have managed to find is to do is to add gradients to it, but its a tricky and fiddly process, and I cant seem to get it quite right without going way too far above or below the map.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Only thing i can suggest is to get it as close as possible to the DEM terrain and then snap the terrain to the spline since there's (as far as i know) no way of snapping a spline to the terrain or DEM. This means your map wont be exactly accurate but tbh nobody is gonna notice if the gradient is 1% off or something and if they do they want to re-evaluate their priorities in life :')

in "Terrain" tab theres an option to Align terrain to spline box, just tick that and set the horizontal lines accordingly (e.g. 20m wide) and it will snap a 20m either side to the spline. NOTE: ALWAYS SAVE before doing terrain editing as it can be a mother fudging ball buster dude

Thanks for the tip! Tough luck for perfectionists eh? ;)

So how would I go about snapping the terrain to the spline?
