Bus Mods Sound Pack for V3D's ALX400 (London Spec) (Released) (1 Viewer)

MB Workshop is a group of Hong Kong bus enthusiasts which was founded in 2010.
We have constantly worked on projects on bus simulation games, mainly OMSI but also Simutrans.
As a partner of Winsome's OMSI Studio, our past projects mainly focus on Hong Kong buses in OMSI.

This time, we have decided to break the geographic boundaries, and bring you the sound pack of V3D's ALX400 (London Spec).
These are still Work In Progress (WIP) and the contents may change if we collect better sound source.
We would like to thank FF3170 for his kindness to provide valuable source sounds.
Currently, we have made 2 versions for the ALX400: one with ZF and one with Voith gearboxes.
Feel free to leave us with some feedback so we can improve them further!

It replaces the existing bus sounds
How would you even know this?
1) They're WIP anyway so there's no download to even find out;
2) If they replaced the existing sounds then showing both mods off would be quite awkward to do, don't you think? Installing a different mod when you wanted to use it...

It'll most likely create a new bus, if not, then it's something that needs to be changed.

Having ridden a ZF Euro 2 trident I can safely say this is really good, the Voith boxed one I'm not too sure on however, mainly because I've never ridden a Voith boxed Euro 2 Trident, so I cannot comment, however it does sound a lot like I would expect it to sound, which I assume is a good thing . Anyways, this sound mod sounds really good and lives up to the higher standards in the world of sound modding I would say. Very well done to all involved, and I look forward to seeing how this progresses

As someone who's grown up with voiths since 2002, I am gobsmacked by how realistic the Euro 3 voith sounds! The only 'feedback' I could offer is that the retarder/braking pitch sounds a little bit different as shown below but for a WIP this is seriously impressive stuff!

@Lochlan if you let this play to 4:00 ish, would that be the beep you mean?

I would still like someone to create accurate Euro 3 and 4 sounds for the Trident based ALX-400's however, for the Euro2 Voith version this is spot on, apart from the retarder and gearing down sounds as mentioned above. Brings back memories of the pre-51 plate ALX's that Stagecoach Selkent used with the old red interior and "stripe" moquette on the seats.
