Hello guys!
I'm preparing to build some new assets for my upcoming project on Blender. One object I will need to make is the Dock Tower, which is 300 foot tall. My inexperience with Blender will show with the question I ask. What measurements can Blender work in? I'm currently working my way through the basics build several scenery objects.

Thanks,

Kieron

Solution
Current versions of Blender also support selecting different measurement systems from the Scene tab of the Properties window, but I've not explored them as 1 Blender Unit equalling 1 metre has been enough for me. It seems to be possible to model in feet, inches, metres, millimetres or even miles or kilometres...
