Model Railways/Buses (1 Viewer)

Been a while so, here is most of my UK buses at present. Shelves are organised as Single Decks, Double Decks and Cambridge based buses.

Think my latest one was the Stagecoach Manchester MPD (in February) which I decided to box up for a photo (it was missing the n/s mirror when I bought it but still a nice model nevertheless - 155 of 1400).

For variety on the thread, here we also have a static Z7100 and two Norev Urbanways...because that’s the only thing I can find from TCL (Lyon)

I've amassed quite a sizeable collection of West Midlands models; mostly of the Travel/National Express West Midlands era. Not at all bad, considering I began collecting seriously a few years ago - long after the time of production for many (with the exception of recent releases). The collection also includes some Code 3 models - because I've learnt if you want something done, you should do it yourself!

And despite shelf space getting more sparse with each addition - with my latest inclusion of the Omnicity decker filling the empty space - I'm still adamant on growing my collection. o_O UKBUS6018 will eventually complete my collection of Northcord models, but tracking one down online has proved damn near impossible! Will likely have to source one in person at a local event, whenever the next opportunity arises.

Aside from these, there's a few more that's not shown here, including the start of a Metrobus assortment; and a few miscellaneous models (including some London buses).

Didn’t realise how long it had been since this thread had last been used (apologies if this counts as bumping or whatever).

Anyway, two new additions today.
First is UKBUS7002, a Fastway-branded Metrobus Omnicity. This is my first Omnicity model. 1640 of 1700

Chances are it is the only model to feature Guidewheels which I think is quite cool.

Also got UKBUS1030 of the one-off ‘Pink & Ride’ ALX400 which would have run on Cambridge’s Park & Ride years ago (one of these models is even on display at Trumpington). 337 of 1600. Really stands out this one.

May I ask how much the City cost? I’ve seen it around £50 on eBay but wondered if there was any variety :P

Ah I managed to get it for £18+£2.75 postage off of Hattons. They noted the box “had a couple lables” which probably reduced the price a tiny bit. To be honest though for me as long as the bus itself is in good condition (which it was) I’m happy. Glad I got it especially at that price.

Thanks! Think you got the last one though

Love those!! ???? ???????????????? Especially the 2nd! ????
The rail layout would also be something I'd like to see! :)
Thanks! I'll try and get some pics of the railway in its current form (trackwork complete but little scenery atm) as soon as possible. (Sorry for the late response)

My latest acquisition is Drumwell 99006, a NWFB Dennis Trident/Alexander ALX500 (1008 - HV 6531). A real bargain at £20 (inc postage) and in good condition - the box is a bit worn but I'm not that fussed about that. Being an older HK-only release, several have found their way into the UK, including other Tridents and Volvo B10TLs, however these tend to go for around £40-£50, hence why I'm so pleased with this.
