As many members of the community are aware, I’m making new packs called the Masterbus Veiling Pack and Masterbus Veiling: Classics, which will consist of many of the heavyweight Wright series single-deckers on different chassis variations from the late 90s to the modern day. I've been able to make rapid progress as they're very similar to the Volvo variants found in the Masterbus Gen 3 Pack. Due to the sheer variety in the Wright Eclipse series, I’ve decided to split the “Veiling Pack” into two separate packs, otherwise the work required would not be feasible for a single pack. As with the Masterbus Gen 3 Pack, you can expect a wide range of setvars to customise the vehicle to your liking. Systems like the Ticketer and Hanover will be improved during the time of the Veiling development, and that means these updates will be backported to the Gen 3 Pack free of charge.

(Please note, below there will be some preview images which are a placeholder, and will be updated once more of the variations have made it ingame)

Masterbus Veiling Pack

This pack contains the modern varieties of the Wright Eclipse series seen in recent years. To flesh out the pack compared to the Masterbus Veiling Classics Pack, a fictional variant of a B8RLEA (as seen in Australia) will be included, as it is very feasible and could be a reality if operators wanted bendy buses more in the UK. Since the Bamford Bus Company takeover, the introduction of the GB Hawk has made its way into the Veiling Pack too.

The Masterbus Veiling Pack is released as of 12th May 2022, and can be purchased on Steam and Aerosoft's webstore.

Masterbus Veiling Classics Pack

Widely requested by large amounts of people in the community, the original Wright Eclipse is probably one of the most requested vehicles for OMSI, and rightly so. The Millennium body is used on many different chassis variants, more-so than the Eclipse 2 and Eclipse 3 bodies combined. Below is a list of variants which have yet to be completely finalised, and are due to change. There is the possibility of facelifted versions as well in the pack, however, it is too early to make any guarantees. With the age of some of these, it is getting increasingly harder to get references and sounds. We would instead release a properly done version rather than a variant that just feels out of place.
  • Wright Eclipse Metro (Volvo B7L)
  • Wright Eclipse Fusion (Volvo B7LA)
  • Wright Eclipse Urban (Volvo B7RLE)
    • Euro 3 (ZF)
    • Euro 4 (ZF / Voith)
  • Wright Solar (Scania L94UB)
  • Wright Solar Fusion (Scania L94UA)
  • Wright Solar Urban (Scania K230)
  • Wright Meridian (MAN A22)
  • Wright Pulsar (VDL SB200)

With the B7RLE Varient, will it include both B7RLE Eclipse Urban and B7RLE Eclipse Urban 2?

Dumb question cause not from the UK but what dash’s do the Scanias and the MAN’s have on those Wright bodied buses cause I’ve wondered if the older Scania dashes would get made for OMSI 2. Could anyone provide me with pics of the dashes on the Scania’s and the A22?

For anyone interested about the Volvo B8RLEA in Australia, I recommend this website: VIDEO REVIEW: VOLVO B8RLEA
There is a video near the top, watch it, it’s really informative. There is an advert at the start but shouldn’t last for very long.

Happy watching!!
For anyone confused, the B8RLEA in Australia does not have the Eclipse 3 body.

I’m also really excited for this pack. After many days, weeks and even months the plans are released and I have to say it’s incredible. I can see lots of Roleplay, kerb mounting, YT videos coming on these beasts. Pulsars are an added amazement, can see lots of Arriva Repaints!!

Do have a couple of questions however:
Will the buses include the setvar of bonded and gasket windows?
Will there be a Hydrogen Pulsar?
And is there a possibility of a E2 and E3 bodies StreetAir?
Thanks in advance.

To all of the Masterswitch Team, to Sylar; incredible work. Both the Veiling and YC V.3 look incredible.

The Volvos on the Volgren Optimus Body are very nice would be something that would be nice to see in OMSI but like the newer Gen B8s are much nicer than the older Volvos but with some of the Eclipse 3 bodies would be a nice combination to see these buses in OMSI. Going off personal opinion I would be nice to see a Scania K360UA or similar Scania in the Eclipse 3 body just to add to the theme of more artics to the pack and more for the RHD list of buses. Any one who either lives in Australia or have been to Australia and experienced our Buses would know that these buses on our bodies are usually decent but with some of the Wright bodies would be almost as nice.

Anyone who has some experience with modeling for OMSI and that please contact me I would love to get some more range of buses off these chassis and that.
