UPDATE 31-01-2020

looks different to what it looks like in the screenshots, this is due to the map corrupting and having to start from scratch again, although this gave me a chance to redo some of the areas, the screenshot of the depot has mostly stayed the same, however Cedar Grove across the river from the depot has been re done. Screenshots to follow

UPDATE 06-02-2020 - Shadowbridge emerges from the shadows
the construction of Shadowbridge commenced on 05-02-2020 and will be a mixture of retail and industrial units. The main road will be a 50 MPH road allowing you to test buses.

Construction work has continued in Aldmarsh Village with more housing to be added in due course.

Love it a lot! Especially the ground texture.
Got 3 suggestions. :)
  1. Add paths from houses to road (maybe also fences/walls and gardens, that would add to the realism. To be fair you probably would've done that anyway, so never mind if you were)
  2. Swap the really dark earth texture seen on the right out with a lighter earth texture/darker grass texture.
  3. Speaking of construction work, I'd actually really like to see some construction sites on the map (that take up half the road) with their set of two traffic lights (aside from that roadblock). That might be quite nice! :)
All the best, and good luck with the map!
Love the fictional names too, sound pretty legit! :)

what would be the best way to do a tree lined road, without making it look repetative?
What I do is I place all plants manually. In fact, I never used the Attach to Spline tool (also because I didn't even know how to use it at first).
The only place I would use it would be for man-made things, like street lights or bins, stuff like that.
Sure, placing plants manually takes more time and patience, but it does pay off in the end (in my opinion at least).
Hope this helps! :)
