About us

Hey there, we’re Knight Haulage!

We're a Virtual Trucking Company that operates on Euro Truck Simulator 2. Currently, we do not have any plans to extend onto American Truck Simulator as we are a European-based company.

We have a dedicated in-house Fleet Management team, which consists of skilled members of the VTC, who design and customize all of our trucks to the KH standard and ensure that our fleet always stands out on the road. We aim for the best of the best when it comes to our trucks, and nothing less.

We are also proud to feature a fully custom-built trip logger and live tracker which means drivers no longer need to ALT+TAB out of game to log jobs; they can simply open an application before starting the game and it does everything for them and tracks their every move.

In order to ensure the best communication possible, we have a Discord server where drivers can interact with staff as well as talk with other drivers in the VTC.

Our rules within the vtc
-Do not share VTC-exclusive downloads and skins to anybody. Under no circumstances should you be distributing our VTC downloads to anybody. This includes VTC members (unless permission from staff is provided)
-You must not be part of another VTC.If you are a member of Knight Haulage, we expect you to only be a member of Knight Haulage.Under no circumstances will we allow somebody to be part of another VTC for ETS2 aswell as us.If you'd like to be part of an ATS VTC as well as Knight Haulage, please contact a member of staff and let them know since we do not operate on ATS.
-We use a loadcount policy where new recruits will join as "trial drivers" which will use their own trucks and trailers untill they get to 20 loads.Once that loadcount has been reached they will progress onto full time drivers which will then have a custom made truck from the dedicated truck list and will follow the loadcount for the trailers;trucks can be changed every 1.5 months.More information about that will be told during your induction if you are accepted into the vtc.
-Respect all members both in and out of the vtc.Failing to do so will result in a suspension.
-Trucks should comply with the guide that is in the discord server. Eg: keep it sensible, don't go overboard with lights, accessories etc
-Although we are a relaxed vtc we ask that you be as active as you can, whether this is participating in the discord chat or logging loads.

The new site has arrived

After many late hours of working on the new site, we’re pleased to announce that the new official site of Knight Haulage VTC, including the new version of KHConnect, is now online and available to all VTC members.

We’ve completely rewritten the site from scratch, using the Laravel PHP framework. Laravel is, by far, the best framework I’ve ever worked with, and will without a doubt be being used by me in future projects.

We’ve decided to adopt a versioning system for KHConnect, so we are therefore now on V2.0 of the site. I’ll be keeping a full log of all the updated versions, with a full changelog, over on the forums.

As we’ve made some extensive changes to how our systems work, all KHConnect tracker and job logger programs will need to be updated to the new version. You can download the updated program directly from KHConnect, in the Downloads area. If you have any issues with this, please get in touch with us via. the Discord server.

Part of the reason we’ve updated the site is to accommodate for some changes we’ll soon be making in the VTC. With Laravel, it’s really easy to add new features to KHConnect, and we will be doing so as time goes on. Stay tuned to the blog for the latest updates on the upcoming changes.

So, what’s changed? A lot.

The new Dashboard of KHConnect.
Immediately upon registering on the new KHConnect, you’ll be taken to the new Dashboard area. This is the main hub of the entire site, and is where you can access everything you need.

In addition to making significant improvements to existing features of the site, we’ve also introduced some entirely new features and tools. A perfect example is the new Divisions system, which boasts of a wide range of helpful tools for division managers, as well as drivers. We have also moved livery requests over into a new central system, where you can request liveries and then can be dealt with directly from the site by staff. You can even directly download your livery, once it’s complete, from the request page.

We’re confident that this system is second-to-none within the wider ETS community, and hope you enjoy using it.

The site comes alongside a whole load of other new changes, many of which will be announced in the coming weeks here on the blog and across all the normal channels. Stay tuned for them.

If you find any bugs or even security vulnerabilities within the new site, please get in touch with me on the soonest opportunity via. email. The site, in particular KHConnect, has gone under extensive testing ahead of being put live, but there will always be the odd bug which makes its way into the production environment.

I’m also open to any feedback/suggestions you have for the site. Feel free to get in touch with us, also by email, or just simply @ me over on the Discord server.

Regards, Knight Haulage

It’s time to go private

f08ec9d8d5a1c776108f8ed166df9202.jpeg

Hello all,

Since we re-opened recruitment to the VTC back in January, we had a inflow of applications bringing us back to 26 drivers. However, we soon realised many people had just registered to take a look at the KHConnect system, and many weren’t logging any jobs or moved on quickly to other VTCs. This even included some of our most trusted drivers. Therefore, this left us with only a few active drivers.

After discussion with both the Management and Staff teams, we have now made the decision to become a private VTC.

This means that from now on, there will only be new members joining the VTC on an invitation basis. This will allow us to interact more with our active drivers, and make improvements swiftly along the way based on their feedback. In essence, this allows us to operate more efficiently and simply become a better VTC.

All current drivers registered on KHConnect have been sent an email including full details of what’s happening next. It is important that all members read this email and follow the steps included within. Please check your spam filter if you can’t find the email in your inbox.

As always, if you have any questions for us don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via. the usual channels (Facebook, email or the website).

What’s happened with this?

At the moment we just have General Division and Supply Chain.
Supply chain is currently going through testing with limited drivers.
There are no plans to add another for a good few months, but even without that, still an excellent VTC to join and drive for

Thanks for the response, I think I'll stay with tankers at the moment. I take it the log lorries are part of those divisions rather than being standalone then.

They aren't part of any division, they're more of a random trailer used to show off something. There may be plans for them in the future when we have more man power (staff + driverwise) however for the meantime there won't be.
