I have been surfing the internet to find some simple yet useful tools to mod ETS2. I know there are lots and lots of articles and tools you can use to get the job done, but I will post about once that I find interesting.

If you have come across some tools that you might want to share, go head this thread is open to all.

Tools provided by SCS soft.

You can find these tools in EurotruckSim official website.

These tools should introduce you to what modding really is.

ETS2studio

ETS2studio is another great tool for making truck and Trailer skins. It is so simple that anyone can learn it within hours.

Blender 2 SCS

This is a small plugin for Blender, which makes texturing, importing/exporting and some more other process easier.

So until SCS releases their Blender tools we probably will need this one.

ETS2Studio. One of the best one for ETS2.

Its for standalone truck and trailer skins generator, TOBJ editor, RBG to SCS's color scheme coverter etc etc.

:)

Many mod authors recommend newbies to start off using these tools. And then get to tougher tools for modding.

I found the best way to learn was just pulling apart mods other people have done, which is why I will always leave the mods I've made unlocked, in case other people want to do the same!

SCS has released a new guide on how to mod ETS with 1.9 Patch, most things seems slimier from a user's point of view, but can any mod authors say a few lines on how the guide is?

ETS2 Studio is great, helped me make almost all of my skins so far, and all of them since I discovered it.
Seriously if you are skinning you should use it, saves so much time.
