Hey there everybody of this forum this thread doesn't exist shockingly so I decided to make it.

I am actually very interested to know everybody's favourite bus in this world.

Mine is the Enviro 400 ZF:

I have actually seen multiple threads that are about this topic, but still, I'm going to say mine.
I know you've only asked for one, but I like a lot of different buses! So I'm going to say my top 5.

(Do note though that none of these pictures are my own.)

First_Volvo_Wright_Renown_at_Rotherham.JPG

1997 B10BLE Wright Renown [ZF] (ridden these A LOT on the 10 from Weymouth to Dorchester. They really are extremely good buses!)

2003 Scania N94UD Scania OmniDekka (These buses are amazing. They were running on the X53 and 31 (pictured)), and hey've got excellent visibility from the top deck, and they were never cold inside, unlike the Volvo B9TL Gemini 1s the X53 ones got replaced with (in 2008 I believe). I think First've actually brought these back though.

1991 DAF DB250 Optare Spectra [ZF] (Ridden these a lot, low-floor and high-floor, mainly between Weymouth and Salisbury (which is where this picture was taken). Lovely buses!)

Scania N230UD Optare Visionaire (These buses' engine sound is extremely iconic. When you heard that gurgle from behind you, you'd always know that either one of these or an Olympus was coming. And most of them were open top as well. Also, the visibility out of the top of these buses is the best I've ever seen.)

1998 Volvo B10LA Wright Fusion [ZF] (never ridden it in real life, and I never will since the last ones have been scrapped in 2016, but it having been basically a Renown but articulated easily makes it onto my list.)

For me its these buses:

Enviro 400 ZF Trident II Euro 3 & 4

Gemini 1 & 2 Voith

ALX400 (both ZF & Voith)

Optare Spectra

E400MMC
Great picks. I agree with all of them, except the Spectra. I also prefer ZF compared to Voith Gemini 1's/2's.

Me being me I can’t have a favourite. But some, in no particular order, that I rather like are:

Dennis Tridents (Mostly €3 but the €2 ones are good aswell)
Enviro 400s (Pretty much all generations but the old Trident ones are the best ones)
Enviro 400MMC (Probably my favourite bus that is currently in production)
Enviro 400XLB (More for the comfortable seats and nice interior, the bus itself is not very exciting)
Scania N230UD (Especially with a nice ZF sound)
Volvo B7RLE
Volvo Olympian (Both Voith & ZF)
Volvo B7L Nordic
Mercedes-Benz Citaro/Evobus O530/Whatevernameyouwanttogiveit
Irisbus Citelis 18 €3

This isn’t all of them but many I like.

DAF DB250 Optare Spectra. Arriva have one 723 left in service, one that is out of service, a very sad day for Arriva. Love them! Brilliant ride and lots of power.

Volvo B9TL Optare Olympus: These are fantastic. Really comfy as a passenger and not much rattling, a great bus for me. Love them.

VDL SB200 Wright Pulsar 2: Love the pulsars. Great to ride on. Comfortable for me no matter where I sit.

DAF SB200 Wright Commanders: I love the commanders nice buses. The predecessor to the Pulsar. Great to ride on.

Volvo B7RLE Plaxton Centro: I loved these in Blackpool. Great buses, they was comfy, nice ride. Just a great bus. Much better than the citaros Blackpool have imo.

Mine are listed in order,

Dennis Dart 9.7m (iirc)
PDL113 being the bus I have a very big soft spot for.

Wright Gemini Eclipse (DAF motor)
best sounding buses ever made!

After them Londons DLA, VLA, PVL, WVL, DOE, SOE & DWS/L are superb.

For the up to date stuff, nowhere near as goo as the them to but listed in order,

Wight Streetlite (9.7m?)
Now I will get hate for this but some are very good (SLS23-30) are real good (SLS1-22) are bad but the good ones are really good IMO

E400 MMC (Standard Hybrid)
Best of today's buses, the smart Hybrid are good but the standard ones feel better IMO
