I didn’t know there was such a thing, but apparently there is!

I believe the bus is 12M long, and is sold in New Zealand. What’s your opinion on it?
Some info:
“with the 3 axle version offering 45 seats and a total passenger carrying capacity of up to 83. The Enviro200 is fully air conditioned for excellent passenger comfort.
Powered by fuel efficient 6 cylinder Cummins engines with electric cooling, the Enviro200 delivers class leading reliability and easy maintenance. A range of Smart Accessories is available to further improve fuel efficiency and minimise emissions.”

I didn't either!

Hope Stagecoach purchases some. :)

The E200XLB is designed to fill the gap between the E200MMC and the E500MMC in New Zealand - in the UK you'd just buy an E400MMC, but in New Zealand the amount of weight you can put on 2 axles is lower, so a 2-axle double deck doesn't make sense, especially if fitted with aircon. A 10.3-metre single door E400MMC has seats for 74, but is over the max axle weight with just 48 passengers.

As Leyland said, that was very informative, so thanks! it’s quite hard to think that an E200MMC has the same capacity as a E400MMC! :)

I wonder if the bodywork will come on another chassis soon.

Even with that in mind, it could work for routes that have high passenger usage and use big buses, but cannot use double deckers, such as the 108 and other Citaro routes

That’s true! They look like good buses for long distance too!
