The problem is that different buses use different display scripting and thus require different methods to create displays for, so we need to know which bus(es) to tell you about.
The actual light effect of a set of DRLs could be created fairly simply in the config files, but to make them appear to come from actual lights you would either need to add an image to the texture, model a new mesh file to add to the existing bus model, edit the original model files (requiring obtaining them from the author) or some combination of the 3.
There's a DRL mod for stock OMSI buses, download that and take it apart so you can customize it. But as RoadHog points out, if you're on about supplementary DRL's, you'll have to model and script them in yourself.
