Metrodeckers are surprisingly competent, if plasticky.


If a Streetshite made it up a 25% incline with a full load I would be more than surprised...

oh i saw this aswell quite powerful more fuel efficent aswell York HAVE to get 'green' buses because of there contract because of how the council wont allow higher emissisons buses

Yeah streetshites would fail.


That why get good quality Optare single deckers.

Be interesting to see how a hybrid would fare - idk what sort of power ratio manufacturers build between electric and diesel, or if it can be configured. But a bus with a beefy motor would annihilate that course.

Hybrids do seem to have incredibly quick acceleration, so they might fair quiet well up an incline.
