Has anyone here thought about creating or modding some form of electric bus into OMSI? It's something I've been wanting to see implemented into the game for quite a while now.

The Volvo 7900H bus included with Hamburg Hafencity has an electric only mode, but doesn't get up to speed very well.

I have no experience with 3D modelling at all or have anywhere near an idea as to how to do it myself. I'm just making a suggestion.
What an inspired idea, it might be interesting. If you were interested in modelling one of your own, most of our creators use Blender or other CAD crafting software. There are some tutorials out there, I thought about it myself a few months back but I just don't have the time, especially while I'm creating a map too.

yes and also the solaris urbino 12 serial hybrid (that comes with the morphi patch) has an electric only mode (ZEV button), which actually works for high speeds

I know it has stop start etc, but someone noted it has an electric only mode? By this, I take it the Diesel engine doesn’t conk in, no matter the speed
