The aim of this thread is to post your wishes for what you would like to see in ATS! This is unofficial and don't expect any of them to be considered - it's just a bit of fun :)

I'll start:

The only thing I really wish for is actual American junctions and not like the ones we see in ETS2!

Post as many wishes as you'd like :)

I would like to see real police, like in Rig N Roll, where they drive down the road, and they have flashing lights and scan, and you must come to a stop. Also every city should have one gas station, I don't see many along the interstate highway in the USA, There should be truck stops off the the highway like in Rig N Roll. There should be a cafe where you can go into, to see if there is any jobs that you can do, once again like in Rig N Roll. You should be able to take items to the sea port, to factory's, to stores, to airports, and many other places.

To be honest, After seeing how much SCS is delaying on the 1.9 Update in ETS2; I lost all my thoughts about American Truck sim. They still havn't gave us a major update in current game how are they going to manage in ATS?

This is just my POV. I hope nobody is harmed. :)

Not sure if this is already part of the game now but I think it would be great if you had an actual load board with the available freight and all the info for the freight. Also like said above, having real driving and on duty hours and a mandatory 10 hour break with a log book would be cool. That just adds to the realism of a game that is suppose to be a simulator. That is one of the biggest things in the industry, log books!

I personally would like to see a bit better AI on roads for the cars. And random events of ether accidents or other delays then just traffic jambs. Another item I would like to see is debris on the road. and wildlife crossing. Right now the roads seem to clean. in fact they seem like its pristine where some one comes and cleans the roads just before you start to drive on them. possibility for flats in the tire when driving down the road.

I have one question. Is it possible that in the near future be possible for the driver to get out of the truck to attached a trailer or poured fuel? And to be more interaction with the driver itself, to be more oriented towards the life of a truck driver and not a truck . Thanks for ETS2, I hope that we will soon have a release date of ATS. Greetings from the Croatia

I really look forward to American sounds...nice big diesel engines, and jake brakes to go along with them.

I think that the aspect that I would appreciate the most is brake disc and tire wear. Once you have bought a truck, it starts with 0km, and starts putting on mileage immediately once you start driving. Eventually they lose grip, starts to get harderr to stop in the rain/snow, etc.

Brakes too would progressively get softer and start squeaking when you brake at low speeds.

I hope they could maybe build a more system-friendly city environment too, have the ETS2-sized cties, but then maybe go either smaller or bigger than those ones.

* I would love to see wide loads, with police escorts! I see a lot of them around Nor Cal. Also around where I live there is nothing but mountains and the trucks with trees in the trailers (A few of them aren't but you know) So if they add smaller cities like mine, keep the foresty mountain area with only trailers/jobs with trees or a few food products for the stores and gas for gas stations. Not 20T of dynamite or Chemicals.
* Also, for when we start making a lot of money, allow us to spend it on other things so we don't just stockpile money. Let us customize our own house or set worker wages. Heck, even collect vintage Semi's like 30's and 40's Dodges, Internationals, Fords, Macks, etc. So we can cruse around in them. (just a thought)
* Gas prices should be (for California) 3-4 Dollars a gallon, where I am at they are 3.40 to 3.50 for diesel.
* Have real cops to pull you over. They should be more dense in cities and surrounding highways.
** I cannot wait for this game!!!

I doubt it as that would make it more like a first person game rather than a simulator...

I think this game has a much greater opportunities, can display a whole life of a truck driver since his departure from the house to the truck, driving, standing in a truckstop, unexpected events through the drive, purchase food for the road, talking to other truckers on road resorts, self-loading trucks, and much more, of course, in the future through the DLC and updates for the game, it can reflect the whole life of a truck driver. I think that this game everyone had in their possession, though all we were imagined as a truck driver at least we men

That sounds more like GTA than a simulator...
