Alton Towners: Urban Expedition

About
Alton Towners (no relation to the theme park) is a project based on London, but features fictional locations. Inspired by many locales, ranging from the museum filled South Kensington, to the busy urban sprawl of Croydon, with suburban areas in between, Alton Towners aims to present London's various neighbourhoods, providing a wide, bustling experience.

Main Route: T17- From North to South
The flagship route featured is the T17, operated by Arriva London, running from top to bottom with roads, wide and tight, inclines steep and gradual and towns large and small.

The T17 operates from the South Kensington inspired Shanders Park, near the capital itself, where those who desire, embrace themselves in high end commercialism and its world class parks. On the other end of its journey is Alton South, part of the large Alton borough, based on Croydon. The Superstores is specifically based on Purley Way Colonnades, which acts as an out of town shopping outlet, close to the city borders.

Its primary allocation is the Volvo Gemini3, a staple in London and a favoured bus of Arriva’s. Its journey is inspired by other Arriva London routes such as the 249 and 468, as well as other G3 routes, such as the 119, 202 and 295.

Thought that said Alton Towers for a minute then lol, looks nice!

Thanks

Oh wow, I've found this, great start so far! Although I'd reduce/removed the amount of Freemans ;)

Thanks. The Freemans stuff from Bowdenham does drag down the FPS as they seem too big and polygon heavy. If I can, I'll use the Yorkshire buildings, like the ASDA. It looks a whole lot better.

How does one do the blinds Master Troyski?

It's a simple but long process to begin. (Also, sorry for the late reply. I tried to upload a template, but the file doesn't have an allowed extension)

You'll need an editing software, such as Paint.net to do this: https://www.getpaint.net/

Once you've opened Paint.net, select Open and you need to go to the directory (OMSI 2> Vehicles> Anzeigen> ALX400)

Here, you'll see rollblinds for many maps, Cotterell, BOTW, etc. There should be a blank template already, but if there isn't, use the first image provided below for guidelines.

See how between certain sections of the blind, there's a white line? This acts a guide, to where the blind is divided on the bus, so you have the front side and back displays.

Section 1 are the via points and route number, if its a London bus.2 is for the terminus, 3 is for the side terminus or via points and 4 is for the back route number.

I used a P22 Johnston font, the official font of TfL. It can be downloaded online.

After this, and typing in whatever you want, you'll have a blind similar to the third image below, complete and ready for use. However, a HOF file needs to be made so the bus can display it.

Let me know if you need help with HOF files.
