So I've been spending my time exporting and optimising, I've also been converting existing textures to DDS.
What's taken the longest however are the new rims, which I'm rather proud of now. I'm holding off any new screenshots of the bus in the sim, waiting until its all been exported!
In terms of livery, I'm sure one of the many talented repainters in the community will make one when it's released. As far as I can see from the limited reference on google, Ulsterbus 405's were MK1's. So if you want the full Ulsterbus immersion, then I'm afraid you may have to wait till an...
A very well needed update.
Progress has been very slow, plans were made earlier in the year to go and visit 1707 to get more reference images and record sounds etc. However, those have now been pushed back to who knows when!
All the exterior body was remodelled as the old one just wasn't...
Last time I checked (which was a while ago) Blender 2.8 onwards doesn't support the option to export to a [.x] us bus modellers are still using 2.79 purely for that reason, also because we need to use Blender Render rather than Cycles or Eevee

Let me know if you need some help and I'll try to guide you in the right direction!
Looking great so far. However, I do have a few tips and suggestion.
Firstly, as shown in the first picture the windscreen is a tad sharp-looking, perhaps try beveling these bits so that they are nice and smooth. Secondly, the rivets look very high poly, once you get it into OMSI along with...
So I've spent the last week watching through Rhys's of development streams of the E200 on twitch, and I learnt so bloody much. Literally, for those wanting to learn about bus developing go give them a watch, they're over 4 hours each stream but what I learnt was pure Goldust, even though I would...
So since the last update, my time has mainly been spent on perfecting the details.
The exterior modelling of the body is now complete, along with the main parts of the interior which now only require seats, bars and trim pieces. These will be done at a later stage.
A huge part now is...
Well, I almost forgot this thread existed.
Since the last update, lots has changed with the bus.
The exterior body is almost complete with just the rear to be completed. My main focus now is getting the interior built.
Enjoy the screenshots!
