Managed to get a crossing in the game and get myself used to the blender/converter/object editor/sco file process. I could start just by using iomex's splines and your road markings, road-hog, and start to learn about spline creation in the future.

One thing to note that tripped me up is the way that DEM files are ordered. In that, if the longitude is W1.31, for example, you'll need the W002 DEM files . I usually take the files either side of the ones I'm using too just to make sure I can extend the map as far as I need to.
