Fab Map. But there is no voice for the passengers.

Amazing map but really could do with bus stop markers.

I thought the RH Scunthorpe map was really good. So I am loving this map. The dense traffic on the dual carriageway in the peak hours - which keeps moving and not dead locking with itself shows great care in construction. A pleasure to drive.

No lag at all! Perfect map. Just a shame about the 10 gone in real life and the 33/34 changes.

For me this map is shocking, the roads have flicking textures. Timetables have no are extremely difficult to set up, the Bus stops are barely visible and scenery is repetitive in places and is some place it is bare.

Scunthorpe is a fantastic map to drive on. Mrmoose and Ross have done an excellent job. They are plenty of routes to choose from and really enjoyable to drive. The map needs a few improvements here and there, however, the final product is great.

Now, Mr Moose, I know we've had our differences in the past over your previous work, but I do want to say that you've done an absolutely great job with Scunthorpe! You can tell you've worked really hard on this, and I'm very impressed with the overall outcome.

Pros:

You managed to successfully convert Scunthorpe from LHD to RHD, as well as exploring a few different techniques within constructing your road system. You've also explored with more scenery, which does give the impression of driving inbetween towns as opposed to just seeing the same scenery 24/7, which is great.

I also do love the variety that does come with Scunthorpe, as well as the organisation of the timetables and intermixed workings. It prevents the user from getting bored easily.

Cons:

There's not much negative things that I can say about Scunthorpe however, here are a few suggestions for improvements if a future version is to be produced.

- Roundabouts, I've noticed you've used some splines to form your roundabouts, whilst this can be handy, this can sometimes cause flickering textures if the splines for the connecting rounds to the roundabouts are set at the same height. To counteract this, you could raise the roundabout splines to be around 0.01-0.05m higher.

- Roadmarkings, it's great that you've used Road-hog's new pack, only improvement I'd suggest is to follow the TSRGD requirements for road markings a bit more. If you need any advice on that, iomex is your guy!

Overhall, I've had tons of fun this evening! Not even done any planned work on London and C200 as I've been so distracted by Scunthorpe.

Hopefully my feedback is fair and light-hearted, and I hope that things of the past have been put behind us :)

Best Regards,
Rhys

I've never had the chance to play the original, but this new version feels like a great UK map to drive and runs really well on my PC too. It's a bit rough in places though, such as how you can see the blank terrain in a lot of places behind houses, and some parts are a bit confusing to drive, which could do with improving, and I did have some issues getting the AI to show up at first. It's also annoying not having any of the markers over the stops, and the directional arrows are often badly positioned too. Overall though, a pretty good map, and well, you can't complain too much when it's free! ;)

Whilst buggy in places (like every map in omsi) This map felt and drove amazingly and is a must have for UK Map lovers, no lag spikes, no FPS issues and felt fantastic to drive. Never played OMSI 1 so wasn't familiar with the original map but have to say this map is worth waiting for. Thank you MrMoose for the effort you have gone to in order to bring us this fantastic map.

Been waiting a long time for this and it hasn't disappointed! It feels like a complete rebuild from the ground up, strangely familiar yet so much more detailed.
