Now, Mr Moose, I know we've had our differences in the past over your previous work, but I do want to say that you've done an absolutely great job with Scunthorpe! You can tell you've worked really hard on this, and I'm very impressed with the overall outcome.
Pros:
You managed to successfully convert Scunthorpe from LHD to RHD, as well as exploring a few different techniques within constructing your road system. You've also explored with more scenery, which does give the impression of driving inbetween towns as opposed to just seeing the same scenery 24/7, which is great.
I also do love the variety that does come with Scunthorpe, as well as the organisation of the timetables and intermixed workings. It prevents the user from getting bored easily.
Cons:
There's not much negative things that I can say about Scunthorpe however, here are a few suggestions for improvements if a future version is to be produced.
- Roundabouts, I've noticed you've used some splines to form your roundabouts, whilst this can be handy, this can sometimes cause flickering textures if the splines for the connecting rounds to the roundabouts are set at the same height. To counteract this, you could raise the roundabout splines to be around 0.01-0.05m higher.
- Roadmarkings, it's great that you've used Road-hog's new pack, only improvement I'd suggest is to follow the TSRGD requirements for road markings a bit more. If you need any advice on that, iomex is your guy!
Overhall, I've had tons of fun this evening! Not even done any planned work on London and C200 as I've been so distracted by Scunthorpe.
Hopefully my feedback is fair and light-hearted, and I hope that things of the past have been put behind us :)
Best Regards,
Rhys
